SITUATION:
The client launches a new residential area project.

A TASK:
To visualize the architectural and planning solution and the advantages of the landscape of new area.

SOLUTION:
Collapsible model of the quarter in 1:400 scale.

Originally the model with its design supposed to emphasize the status of the project. We decided to make a "floating" configuration with 2 lighting lines at the floor and at the frame side. We have chosen modest materials of the pedestal and frame which match and highlight the interior of the main exposition - oak, silvery aluminum.

Model design was coordinated on sketches and scale samples. After comparing 1:400 and 1:500, the customer agrees the 1:400 scale, which showed the more detailed architecture.

The facades concept and model were developed in parallel. Our architects worked closely with the district planner's architects.

During the design, several adjustments were made because of inconsistencies, which were found out due to the presence of a project model. For example, it was decided to change the general plan due to the new design of the sections, the replanning of the school territory, the fire escapes at the social and business complex, the configuration of the stairs to the lower terrace of the embankment and others.

Using our production base, we made the model details. We used FDM-3D printing, photopolymer printing, UV printing, 3D-CNC-milling.

The result can be seen on the photo or in the developer's office in Krasnoyarsk.
