SITUATION:
SpetsTransGroup wants to congratulate a key employee on a memorable date.

TASK:
Make a model which will remind a person of his work in the company for many years.

SOLUTION:
Story based model-souvenir with objects of various scales.

Employees of the company described in words what they would like to see on the model. We formed all the wishes and thoughts into a sketch, which we sent to the customer. As soon as we agreed the final look of the model, we immediately started manufacturing.

The tower, car model, and model landscape were typical, but the model of “portrait of a man” turned out to be an outstanding task and did not work out from the first time. At the beginning we decided to let the sculptor make a master model in plasticine. Already at the stage of a three-dimensional sketch, it became clear that we could not achieve the necessary similarity and detail on such a small model. We decided to finish the casted model by hand. At the same time modeling and 3D printing of the same figure began.

After finishing and coloring, we had two ready portrait models. We chose and put on the model the one that was printed on a 3D printer and hand-painted by the artist. The result can be seen on the photo.
