SITUATION:
Industrial company "Russian Rhenium" is preparing for the presentation of its project at the site of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation at the Eastern Economic Forum.

TASK:
Present the project to the first person.

SOLUTION:
Story based model with a smoke generator.

We have prepared a model of “Rhenium mining at the Kudryavy volcano” for the events of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation at the Eastern Economic Forum-2019 in Vladivostok.

The model tells about a patented method for extracting a rare element for industry - rhenium. The main compositional part is occupied by a model of the Kudryavy volcano emitting fumarole gases (simulated using a smoke generator), which are collected by special gas collectors at the production site. To the right of the volcano, an enlarged view of the mining site with machinery, living and production modules is shown.

On the closest to the viewer part, there are three sites showing the areas of application of rhenium: the aviation and space industry, thermal power engineering and the petrochemical industry.

The first site shows in detail the Soyuz launch vehicle with the payload on the launch pad when the engine is started (the model release smoke, like a volcano), part of the launch site and the engine itself are enlarged.

The second part of the model shows a sectional view of the turbine, where rhenium is used to produce the blades.

The third part shows in detail a fragment of an oil refinery.
