Reconstruction model of the historic quarter

SITUATION:
The customer and coordinator of the project for the reconstruction of the historical quarter is preparing to present Krasnoyarsk experience in preserving the historical and cultural heritage at the «Architectural Heritage - 2021» festival.

TASK:
Show a large scope of work on the comprehensive restoration of the historic quarter at specialized events.

SOLUTION:
Collapsible architectural model of the quarter in 1:75 scale of high detail without interior.

The model was created for demonstration at the festival for reconstruction specialists at Architectural Heritage-2021. The model form-factor was chosen considering model’s transportation. It is disassembled into two tables with dimensions standardized for transportation, considering set-up boxes.

The master plan of the product was printed in 1:1 scale. Only after the approval of such full size “sketches”, making sure that the participants understand what we will have in the end, we began to develop the project.

The model of a fragment of a historical building has many unique details. During the design of the product, we found out that there will be about two thousand of them.

Using our production base, we made the model details. In the production, FDM-3D printing, photopolymer printing, UV-printing, 3D-CNC-milling and other up-to-date technologies were used, which, which in combination with hand made parts, gave an excellent final result.

The team of our workshop delivered, installed, and serviced the model at the Architectural Heritage 2021 festival in Kaliningrad. The project "Administrative and public complex on the basis of historical wooden buildings in Krasnoyarsk, with the preservation of cultural heritage objects by adapting them for modern use" received a silver diploma at the review competition.
